All breed predictions, coat classifications, grooming recommendations, tool suggestions, and price estimates are educational and informational only. They are NOT guarantees and do NOT replace a professional groomer or licensed veterinarian.
GroomIQ does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. For skin lesions, wounds, infections, parasites, severe matting, pain, bleeding, or abnormal behavior, consult a veterinarian promptly.
Grooming involves sharp tools and clippers. You are responsible for your and your dog's safety. Never shave a double-coated breed unless directed by a professional. Do not attempt advanced grooming without proper training.
Breed identification is an AI estimate and may be incorrect, especially for mixed-breed dogs. We make no guarantee of accuracy.
Price ranges are estimates and vary by location, salon, coat condition, and behavior. They are not quotes.
Paid plans and scan packs are billed via Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel through your app store account. Deleting your GroomIQ account does not cancel a subscription.
Monthly scans included in a subscription reset each 30-day period and do not roll over. Purchased scan packs are added to your GroomIQ account, do not expire, and are lost if you delete your account. Scans are limited to a fair-use maximum per day.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GroomIQ is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the app or reliance on its guidance.
